Grade 3/4 were rewarded for a term of hard work and good behaviour with a Mad Hatter’s tea party: they decorated the classroom (don’t look Health and Safety Officer) and designed a crazy teapot, made crazy hats, watched Alice and Wonderland, ate lots of party food (thank-you parents) with cordial poured from a giant teapot. A quiz and party games, then blowing bubbles outside, or a game of Uno ended the day!!!

What a wonderful way to finish our Japanese lessons for the term! ⭐️
Today, grade 5/6 students celebrated the Japanese Tanabata (Star Festival) by hanging their Tanzaku wishes on our class tree, colouring images of Orihime and Hikoboshi, and enjoying a special star jelly treat enjoyed by children in Japan during this celebration.
Throughout the term, students have learned about the story behind Tanabata, the importance of wishes in Japanese culture, and key Japanese vocabulary. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and learning!

What a wonderful time we had last night at our Father's Day Celebrations / Disco Dance Showcase. 🎵🎵 The students, teachers and especially the guests (do the hustle) did a superb job showing off their disco fever. Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a memorable evening, once again.
