Today, Benson joined with students from St Rita’s Babinda and St Rita’s South Johnstone for the Jim Graham Rugby League Carnival. It was a great day of fierce competition and great sportsmanship. Thanks to all who made the day such a success.

Week 10 Assembly award winners. Congratulations to all our students!! We had reading awards , class awards and saints. This week we have two new "Super" saints to add to our wall of fame. Congratulations to Kisara and Michaela. We also had a very special award for Abby. Abby received this award from Miss Natasha because she has learned to play 40 pieces of music on piano. Last Friday night our St John's students and families came together to Celebrate Father's Day and show off our line dancing skills. There were cowboy hats and boots aplenty for our line dancing, an amazing dinner and a Father's Day song, cake and gifts to finish off. What a wonderful evening!! Keep an eye out for more photos in the coming days.

The P/1/2 excursion to Paronella Park was a bit of a wet one. We still enjoyed learning about Jose Paronella and his beautiful park though. The excursion linked to our HASS learning of different types of environments- natural, managed and constructed. It was a great day!
